What the qualification is not

It is a skill qualification, not a degree. It does not confer Registered Dietitian status, it does not make you eligible for Indian Dietetic Association registration, and it does not qualify anyone to deliver clinical medical nutrition therapy. Those routes require a BSc or MSc in dietetics and are worth pursuing if a hospital career is your aim.
