Your NNWA Certificate: Sample & What It Means

An NNWA certificate records the programme completed and carries a unique ID, so anyone can check the certificate online. Learners receive two NNWA certificates, and eligible learners also receive a skill certificate at NCrF (National Credit Framework) Level 4 awarded through Medhavi Skills University, Sikkim. A skill certificate is not a degree.

01The document

What does an NNWA certificate look like?

Every NNWA (Nutrition & Wellness Academy) certificate names the award in full, names the learner, and carries the unique ID that verification is done against.

03Verification

How do you verify an NNWA certificate?

Quote the certificate ID printed on the document. NNWA confirms whether it was genuinely issued, free of charge, at contact@nnwa.in.

  1. 01

Every certificate carries a unique certificate ID

The ID is printed on the certificate itself and is what a prospective employer or client uses to check it.

  2. 02

    Verification is instant and free

Enter the certificate ID printed on any NNWA certificate to confirm that NNWA genuinely issued it.

  3. 03

The award is named in full

Each certificate names the qualification it is for, rather than listing a dozen topics on one sheet.

What an NNWA certificate does not do

NNWA programmes are private skill-enhancement courses and diplomas. They are not UGC- or NCAHP-recognised degrees, and completing one does not confer the statutory title of Registered Dietitian or any equivalent licensed clinical role.

NNWA publishes the name and qualifications of everyone who writes and checks its material. You can see the full teaching team on the faculty page.

Six ascending columns in brass and forest green, suggesting a route with steps, with the NNWA wordmark in the corner.

It is fair to want to see the document before you pay for the course. This page explains what a flagship learner ends up holding, what is printed on it, how anyone can check it, and what it does and does not entitle you to do. The last part matters as much as the first.

What you actually receive

Finish a flagship programme and you hold two documents.

  • The MSU Certificate for Skill Competency, awarded through Medhavi Skills University, Sikkim. On the Diploma this records a 600-hour qualification at NCrF and NSQF Level 4. MSU certificates carry the NSDC and Skill India marks.
  • The NNWA programme certificate, issued by the academy for the programme you studied.

Between them they show the programme name, your details, and a unique verification ID. The sample published on this page lets you see the layout and the wording before you spend anything.

What "600 hours at NCrF and NSQF Level 4" means in plain words

NSQF is the national framework that places skill qualifications on a common ladder. NCrF is the credit framework that sits alongside it under NEP 2020. A level tells you where a qualification sits on that ladder. The hours tell you the learning time the qualification is built around, which on the Diploma is 600 hours.

Being on that ladder is not the same as holding a degree, and NNWA does not present it as one. Level 4 is a skill level, not a degree level. If you want to see how it compares with the other routes into this field in India, the guide to nutrition credentials in India lays them out side by side.

How does certificate verification work?

Every NNWA certificate carries a unique ID printed on the document itself. Type that ID into the verification page and the record confirms whether the certificate was genuinely issued. The check is free, takes seconds, needs no account and no login, and anyone can run it, including an employer who has never contacted NNWA. If an ID returns nothing, check that every letter, number and dash was typed exactly as printed before assuming a problem.

Short course certificates are different

This is the part most likely to be misread, so it is worth being blunt. The roughly 70 short specialisation courses carry NNWA's own certificate. They are not awarded through Medhavi Skills University and they do not come with the MSU Certificate for Skill Competency. If the university award is your reason for enrolling, choose a flagship programme, not a short course. Which programmes those are is set out in the course catalogue and on the Diploma page.

What the certificate entitles you to do

It records that you completed a programme of practical nutrition and wellness training, and it can be shown and checked. People use it when applying for wellness and nutrition support roles, when starting their own practice, and when adding a service to work they already do. The case studies show how people in 35 different professions have put that kind of training to use.

What the certificate does not entitle you to do

It does not make you a Registered Dietitian. That status in India requires a BSc or MSc in the subject plus registration through the Indian Dietetic Association's own route, and no skill certificate substitutes for it. It is not a degree, so it does not award a BSc or MSc and does not make you a graduate of Medhavi Skills University. It does not qualify you to deliver clinical medical nutrition therapy or to treat disease. Anything a doctor or a dietitian should be handling stays with them.

Will an employer accept this certificate?

An employer can confirm two things about it, which is more than they can confirm about most course certificates. They can check the unique ID and see that the document was genuinely issued, and they can look up the awarding partnership on the university's own public partners page. What they do with that is their decision. NNWA does not guarantee a job, a placement or any level of income, and any provider promising otherwise is worth a second look.

Can I see the certificate before I enrol?

Yes, and you should. The sample on this page shows the programme name, the learner details, the unique verification ID and, on eligible flagship programmes, the Level 4 skill certification. Seeing it in advance means you know exactly what you are buying, including the wording that describes it as a skill qualification rather than a degree. If anything on the sample is unclear, ask a counsellor to explain it before you pay the booking amount rather than after.

05Questions

What people ask about Your NNWA Certificate: Sample & What It Means

Expand any question to read the answer in full.

What certificate do I get from NNWA?

On completion an NNWA learner receives NNWA certificates for the programme studied. On eligible flagship programmes there is also a skill certificate at NCrF (National Credit Framework) Level 4, awarded through Medhavi Skills University, Sikkim. Short specialisation courses carry NNWA's own certificate. Every certificate has a unique ID and is digitally verifiable.

Is an NNWA certificate valid?

NNWA certificates are genuine and verifiable: each carries a unique ID that can be checked on NNWA's verification page. On flagship programmes the skill certificate is awarded through Medhavi Skills University, Sikkim, an Awarding Body approved by NCVET (National Council for Vocational Education and Training). It is a skill qualification, not a degree, and NNWA describes it that way.

Can I see a sample NNWA certificate before enrolling?

Yes. NNWA publishes a sample certificate, so a prospective learner can see exactly what the document looks like and what it says before paying anything. The sample shows the programme name, the learner details, the unique verification ID and, on eligible programmes, the NCrF (National Credit Framework) Level 4 skill certification.

Will employers accept an NNWA certificate?

An NNWA certificate is verifiable, which is the part an employer can check: the unique ID confirms it was genuinely issued. It is described honestly as a skill qualification, at NCrF (National Credit Framework) Level 4 on eligible programmes, rather than as a degree. NNWA does not guarantee jobs or placement, and hiring decisions stay with the employer.

Does an NNWA certificate make me a dietitian?

No. Registered Dietitian in India is a protected status that needs a BSc or MSc in the field plus registration with the IDA (Indian Dietetic Association). An NNWA certificate is a skill qualification and does not confer that title. It certifies practical nutrition and wellness training, which is a different thing and is stated clearly.

Still deciding which course fits?

A counsellor will look at your background and tell you honestly which programme fits, including telling you when a shorter, cheaper course is the better answer.
