About NNWA
Reader Polls
NNWA (Nutrition & Wellness Academy) runs occasional reader polls on this page to see what actually stops people from starting: time, fees, confidence in the science, or not knowing which course fits. The first poll is open now. Vote by sending your answer over WhatsApp; results are published here once enough responses have come in to mean something.
Answers here shape what gets written next and which parts of a course page need to be clearer. This page carries the first published poll, open to anyone reading it, with results due to appear once there are enough of them to say something real.
This month's poll
The question on this page at the moment is: what is holding you back from starting in nutrition — time, fees, confidence in the science, or not knowing which course fits? It asks for one answer, even where more than one blocker applies, because the single closest reason is more useful to know than a list of contributing ones.
The four answers, and why each is real
Each of the four options describes a genuine, common reason people delay, not a decoy.
- Time — most people weighing this up are already working, studying or running a household, and fitting a course around that is a real scheduling problem, not a lack of interest
- Fees — cost is a legitimate constraint, and it is fair to want to know what a course costs and how it can be paid before committing to it
- Confidence in the science — plenty of people worry that nutrition study demands a biology or chemistry background they do not have, when the fundamentals are in fact taught from scratch
- Not knowing which course fits — with more than 70 short courses alongside the two flagship programmes, picking the right one is a genuine decision, not indecision for its own sake
Find your course exists to narrow that last one down, and the FAQ page carries the fee and course answers that unblock most of the rest.
How to vote
Voting takes one message. Send whichever of the four answers is closest to true — time, fees, confidence in the science, or not knowing which course fits — over WhatsApp, through the contact page. No form and no account are needed.
What happens with the answers
No results are published yet. The poll has only just gone up, and publishing a figure from a handful of votes would misrepresent what readers actually think, so this page stays without numbers until there are enough responses to mean something. Once that point is reached, the results will appear on this page, and the update will also go out through the newsletter.
What the answers change: articles get written to address whichever blocker turns out to be most common, and course pages get clearer on the points that cause hesitation. For anyone whose blocker turns out to have a straightforward answer, admissions is where that resolves into an actual start date.

How do I vote in the NNWA reader poll?
Send your answer to the current question over WhatsApp, using the number on the contact page. There is no form to fill in and no account needed; a short message naming your answer is enough to be counted.
Where will the poll results be published?
On this page, once enough votes have come in to be meaningful. None are published yet. The update announcing them will also go out through NNWA's newsletter.
Still deciding which course fits?
A counsellor will look at your background and tell you honestly which programme fits — including telling you when a shorter, cheaper course is the better answer.
