What does mentor support mean at NNWA in practice?

It means a person is attached to your learning, not just a video library. NNWA teaches live rather than shipping a set of pre-recorded modules and leaving you to it. In a live class you can ask a question while the topic is still in front of you, which is usually the moment the question is worth asking. Between classes, mentor support runs on the learner dashboard and on the NNWA app. Recordings sit alongside all of it, so you can go back over a session and then bring a sharper question to a mentor rather than a vague one.

Who answers a learner's questions, and when?

Questions go to NNWA's mentor team through the learner dashboard, which is the same LMS you use on the web and in the app, and support there is available around the clock. The live sessions are the other channel, and they run to your batch's published schedule. So there are two routes and they do different jobs. The live class is for the question that comes up while a topic is being taught. The dashboard is for the question that comes up at eleven at night, when you are working through a recording after your own working day has ended.

What does teaching in two languages actually change?

More than most people expect. NNWA teaches in English and Hindi, and the point is not translation for its own sake. Nutrition carries a heavy technical vocabulary, and a learner who is busy converting every term into their stronger language is spending effort on the wrong thing. Being able to hear an explanation in the language you think in means the idea lands the first time. It also changes who can study at all. A capable learner in a smaller town is not shut out of a health career because the teaching only ever arrives in English.

How is a learner's work assessed and reviewed?

Two different kinds of review run at NNWA and it helps to keep them apart. The first is the review of your own progress. Mentors work through your questions and your practice, and the flagship Diploma is a 600-hour qualification at NCrF and NSQF Level 4, so completion is a matter of finishing the programme rather than simply watching it. NNWA does not publish one fixed assessment format for every course on this page, and the honest answer is to check the specific course page or ask admissions what your programme requires, rather than take a general statement as a promise. The second kind of review is editorial. NNWA's published material carries a named writer and a named reviewer, with their credentials, and a date of last review.

Why does NNWA publish faculty names and credentials at all?

Because a course whose teachers are anonymous cannot be checked. That is the whole reason. If a website says "expert faculty" and never says who, there is nothing a prospective learner can do with that sentence. They cannot look the person up, cannot see what they qualified in, cannot judge whether their experience matches the subject. Publishing names and qualifications hands that judgement back to the reader. It also raises the cost of overstating anything, because a named person is standing behind the claim. The same reasoning is why NNWA publishes the affiliation detail and runs a certificate verification page instead of asking anyone to take its word.

What mentor support does not mean

Being clear about the ceiling is part of being useful. Here is what a mentor is not there to do.

• A mentor is not a personal tutor on demand. Support is real and it is available, but it is shared across a batch. Good, specific questions get better and faster answers than open ones.
• A mentor cannot treat your clients or your family. Teaching is education, not clinical care. Anyone with a medical condition needs their own doctor or treating dietitian.
• A mentor cannot change what the qualification is. A skill qualification is not a degree, and no amount of mentoring turns it into Registered Dietitian status, which needs a BSc or MSc plus the Indian Dietetic Association's own route.
• A mentor cannot find you a job. NNWA does not guarantee employment, a placement or an income, and no mentor is in a position to promise one.

What is a learner still expected to do?

Turn up, practise, and do the work between sessions. Mentors can explain a concept, correct a mistake and point out what you have skipped, but nobody can absorb the material on your behalf. The learners who finish tend to be the ones who join the live classes rather than saving every one for later, who try the calculations and diet plans themselves, and who ask when they are stuck instead of quietly falling behind.
