NNWA is the trading name of National Nutrition and Wellness Academy, an online, India-first academy teaching nutrition, dietetics, fitness and wellness as practical skill. Classes are live, taught in English and Hindi, and recorded, and learners keep lifetime access. The range runs from a Certification and a six-month Diploma to a Post Graduation Diploma, an Advanced Diploma in Personal Training with Sports Nutrition, and around seventy short courses.

The Diploma in Nutrition, Dietetics and Public Health is open to anyone who has passed 10+2 and above, from any stream. The Post Graduation Diploma is open to graduates only. Short courses have their own requirements. Learners include students, career changers, homemakers, gym trainers, yoga teachers, and doctors and physiotherapists adding nutrition to work they already do. No. A science stream helps, but it is not required for the Diploma, which is open to 10+2 pass learners from any stream. The teaching starts from the ground up and builds the biology and dietetics you need as it goes, in plain language and in both languages. Steady study and a real interest in the subject matter far more than your previous stream.

Every class runs live and online, so you can ask questions while a topic is being taught. There is no campus and no travel. Each session is recorded and added to your learner dashboard, and you keep lifetime access to those recordings and to future updates. Mentor support runs on the same dashboard and on the NNWA app, so doubts can be raised between classes too.

English and Hindi. NNWA teaches bilingually rather than picking one language and expecting everyone to keep up, and mentor support follows the same approach. This matters more than it sounds. The Diploma in Nutrition, Dietetics and Public Health runs for six months. It is a 600-hour qualification at NCrF and NSQF Level 4. Classes follow a published batch schedule, but every session is recorded with lifetime access, so most learners fit the study around a job or around family commitments. Yes. Instalment plans exist, and they start from 4,999 rupees a month. The exact plan depends on the programme and on what you choose, so the admissions team confirms it with you before you commit rather than leaving you to work it out on your own. For the flagship programmes, the awarding partner is Medhavi Skills University (MSU) in Sikkim. MSU was established under the Medhavi Skills University, Sikkim Act, 2021, is recognised under section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956, and is an approved Awarding Body under NCVET. Flagship learners receive an MSU Certificate for Skill Competency plus the NNWA certificate. The short courses carry NNWA's own certificate and are not MSU-awarded.

Yes, and it is worth using. Every certificate carries a unique code, and the verification page resolves that code to a record, so an employer can confirm the certificate was genuinely issued rather than trust a printout. You can also check the partnership itself. MSU publishes a public partner directory on its awarding body site, where NNWA is listed under its full legal name.

No, and NNWA does not present it as one. A degree is an academic qualification awarded by a university over several years. An NNWA qualification is a shorter, skill-focused credential showing you completed structured practical training. No. Registered Dietitian status in India needs a BSc or an MSc in the subject, plus registration through the Indian Dietetic Association's own route. No certificate or skill diploma from any provider replaces that, and NNWA says so plainly. An NNWA qualification builds applied skill and can sit alongside a degree. You can work in nutrition education, wellness coaching and general healthy-eating guidance, and you can add nutrition to a role you already hold in fitness or health. What you cannot do is present yourself as a Registered Dietitian, deliver clinical medical nutrition therapy, or treat disease. Those need a degree and the statutory route.
