NNWA publishes the name and qualifications of everyone who writes and checks its material. You can see the full teaching team on the faculty page.

The mistake most people make is comparing headline figures. The headline leaves out whatever arrives later, and it says nothing about how many hours a real teacher spends with you. For the whole price map across degrees, diplomas and short courses, read nutrition course fees in India. This page does one narrower job: it helps you judge a single diploma quote.
What does a diploma fee in nutrition and dietetics actually pay for?
Mostly people. A recorded library costs a provider about the same for ten learners or ten thousand, while live classes, doubt support and marked assignments cost more with every learner who joins. So the fee should rise with teaching time and feedback, and an outside award adds its own charge per candidate.
| Fee driver | Why it costs money | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| Live hours | A qualified teacher is paid for each class | Hours taught live, not total hours advertised |
| Marked work | Someone reads and grades what you submit | Who marks it, and whether you can fail |
| The award | An outside body assesses and certifies | The name of the body, and where to look it up |
| Support | Mentors answer doubts between classes | The format and hours of support |
| Access | Recordings and notes must stay available | How long access lasts after the final class |
Try the sum yourself. Add every charge until the certificate reaches you, then divide by the live hours written in the brochure. The full arithmetic is in how to compare nutrition course fees. A cheaper course with very little live teaching can cost more for each hour you spend with a teacher.
Which items should a diploma fee include in 2026-27?
A fair diploma fee should include the teaching, the study material, the assessment and the certificate, with nothing essential sold separately. If an item below is missing, it may still be a reasonable course, but you should know the extra price before you pay rather than after your second class.
Then read the syllabus against the fee. A diploma with a thin clinical block or no food-label work should cost less than one that teaches both, and the diploma in nutrition and dietetics syllabus lists the subjects to look for, one by one.
Which costs stay off the brochure?
Exam charges, retakes, certificate printing and extra access are the usual ones, because they arrive long after you have paid. Courier charges and duplicate certificates are small on their own. A retake fee or a paid extension is not small if your shifts or a new baby put you behind by a month.
Now count your own costs. Live classes need a working phone or laptop and a data plan that survives two hours, and the staff nurse on rotating shifts needs recordings she can reach at midnight. The largest hidden cost is a course you abandon, because you have then paid the whole fee and kept very little of it.
Offers are fine when their terms are plain. Ask what the fee will be after the date passes and whether the offer has ended before. Then read how to read a nutrition course brochure, which shows where the small print usually sits and which lines deserve a second look.
How do interest-free EMI and a zero-interest education loan work?
Both spread the fee across months, and at zero interest the total should match the fee you were quoted. So the check is simple: multiply the instalment by the number of months, add any down payment and processing charge, and compare the answer with the full-payment price printed on the course page.
When a bank or lending company is involved, ask for its Key Facts Statement. The Reserve Bank of India requires regulated lenders to give one, and it must show the Annual Percentage Rate, which counts interest and the other charges together. For choosing between instalments and paying at once, use EMI or paying in full.
What should you ask a counsellor before paying?
Ask for the total payable, in writing, with tax, exams and the certificate counted, and for the refund terms in the same message. A good counsellor answers both in one reply. Copy the five questions below into WhatsApp tonight, send them to every provider on your list and compare the replies side by side.
Five questions to send tonight
The total
What is the total payable, including tax, exams and the certificate?
The teaching
How many hours are taught live, who teaches them, and are they recorded?
The award
Who awards the certificate, and where can a stranger check it?
The way out
What is refunded if I withdraw, within how many days, and with what deductions?
The delay
If I fall behind, can I join a later batch, and what does that cost?
Keep the replies. A written answer is the only one that still exists when a dispute starts, and it also tells you how the provider treats you before you have paid. You can test the award yourself on the certificate verification page and on the council's public list of awarding bodies.
The buyer this diploma fee suits
A six-month diploma fee suits someone who wants real depth and intends to use it: the gym trainer whose clients keep asking about diet, the homemaker in Patna planning a practice, the graduate changing direction. It suits less well if you only want a family meal plan, where a shorter course is the proportionate spend.
Does a nutrition diploma fee buy a hospital dietitian post?
No, and a fair quote will say so: hospital Registered Dietitian posts are reached through a BSc or MSc and a recognised internship. A diploma prepares you to coach healthy people, support community work and build a practice, referring medical cases onwards. The dietitian course guide sets out both routes in detail.
Plan your money around the work you want. If you have a year or more to give, the one year nutrition course options lay out what a longer commitment adds. If you need to start earning alongside your present job, a six-month diploma taught live is the shape that fits evenings and weekends.
The verdict and your next step
NNWA's Diploma in Nutrition, Dietetics and Public Health is the fee worth checking first. It is a 600-hour programme, taught live in English and Hindi, with lifetime access to recordings and notes, 24x7 mentor and doubt support, and a university-awarded certificate with Medhavi Skills University, Sikkim, alongside the NNWA certificate. Placement support and a job portal for diploma learners come with it.
Your next step takes ten minutes. Open the Diploma's course page for the current fee, read the options on fees and EMI, and put the five questions above to the NNWA admissions team. Then send the same questions to anyone else on your list, and decide on the replies.
