Mission & Vision
NNWA's (Nutrition & Wellness Academy) mission is to make credible, practical nutrition and wellness education accessible and affordable across India, taught bilingually in English and Hindi with honest positioning. Its vision is to be India's most trusted skilling academy by teaching applied skills while stating plainly that its certificate is not a University degree.
What stands behind an NNWA certificate?
Four recognitions, each named in full so it can be checked rather than taken on trust.
- 01
NCrF Level-4, via Medhavi Skills University
The National Credit Framework (NCrF) Level-4 skill certificate is issued by Medhavi Skills University, Sikkim, an NCVET-approved Awarding Body, to learners who complete a flagship programme.
- 02
ISO 9001:2015 certified
NNWA runs as an ISO 9001:2015-certified academy, in association with Medhavi Skills University, Sikkim.
- 03
MSME registered
Registered as a Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise with the Government of India.
- 04
YCB-aligned yoga programmes
Where applicable, NNWA's yoga programmes are aligned to the Yoga Certification Board (YCB) syllabus.
What an NNWA qualification is not
NNWA programmes are private skill-enhancement courses and diplomas. They are not UGC- or NCAHP-recognised degrees, and completing one does not confer the statutory title of Registered Dietitian or any equivalent licensed clinical role.

What is NNWA's mission?
NNWA (Nutrition & Wellness Academy) exists to make credible, practical nutrition and wellness education accessible and affordable across India. The mission is simple to state and demanding to live up to: teach people to do the work, in a language they are comfortable in, at a price they can manage, and be honest at every step about what a certificate does and does not mean.
Why does India need affordable nutrition skilling?
India carries a heavy and rising burden of diet-related conditions, from diabetes to undernutrition, often side by side in the same city. Yet credible nutrition training has tended to be expensive, full-time and English-only, out of reach for many capable people. NNWA was built to close that gap, drawing on the ICMR-NIN (National Institute of Nutrition) Dietary Guidelines for Indians so that learning reflects real Indian foods and kitchens.
What does NNWA want to be known for?
NNWA's vision is to be the academy Indians trust for practical nutrition and wellness skills, precisely because it refuses to overstate itself. That means bilingual teaching in English and Hindi, live mentorship with lifetime access to recordings, affordable fees with EMI (equated monthly instalment) options, and certificates that are digitally verifiable. It also means saying plainly that an NNWA credential is a skill certificate, not a University degree or a Registered Dietitian (RD) qualification.
How does honesty shape the mission?
Health is a domain where misleading claims cause real harm, so honesty is not a slogan here but a design principle. NNWA frames its condition-related teaching as education, points learners to their own doctor or registered dietitian for personal medical advice, and grounds guidance in recognised authorities such as the ICMR-NIN and the World Health Organization (WHO). A mission to widen access only counts if the access is to something true.
What does NNWA hope its learners achieve?
The aim is a generation of confident, ethical wellness practitioners, coaches, educators and community workers, who understand Indian nutrition, respect the limits of their role, and improve the health of the families around them. Every design choice, from bilingual delivery to affordable EMI fees, serves that single purpose: turning the science of food into practical, trustworthy skill across India.
