Do I need a nutrition background to take this course?
Some prior grounding helps, as this is an intermediate-level programme. If you have studied nutrition, dietetics, home science or a related health field, or already work in a community setting, you will follow it comfortably. Complete beginners may prefer to start with our foundation certification first.
Is the course online, and in which language?
Yes, it is delivered fully online with recorded sessions you keep for life. Teaching is available in both English and Hindi, so you can learn in whichever you are more comfortable with.
What certificate do I receive?
You receive an NNWA skill-enhancement certificate on completion. It recognises the practical skills you have built and is not a UGC degree or a government qualification, so it complements rather than replaces formal academic study.
Will this help me work with NGOs or government programmes?
It gives you the working knowledge those roles rely on, from assessing groups to understanding national schemes and designing interventions. Eligibility for specific posts is set by each employer, so check their own requirements alongside this course.
Is there mentor support if I get stuck?
Yes. You have mentor support throughout the programme to answer questions and guide you through the assignments, and you can revisit the recordings whenever you need to.
