06Questions

What do people ask before enrolling on the Oncology Nutrition?

Does this course let me manage a cancer patient's nutrition independently?

No. This is a skill-enhancement certificate, not a medical or registered-dietitian qualification. You provide supportive, educational nutrition guidance that complements the oncology team, while diagnosis, medical nutrition therapy and clinical decisions remain with doctors and registered dietitians.

Why is this course pitched at an advanced level?

Cancer nutrition involves treatment side effects, changing needs and sensitive situations, so a solid grounding in nutrition helps. The material builds on core concepts, which is why it suits experienced learners and practising professionals.

Is the course online, and in which languages?

Yes, it is fully online with lifetime access to the recordings. Sessions are available in English and Hindi, and mentor support is included so you can raise questions as you study.

Can nutrition cure cancer or replace medical treatment?

No, and this course is clear about that. Good nutrition supports strength, tolerance of treatment and recovery, but it does not cure cancer and never replaces medical care led by the oncology team.

How long is the course and can I pay in instalments?

The programme runs over five weeks online and is studied at your own pace with recordings. EMI options are available, and you earn an NNWA skill-enhancement certificate on completion.
