What is it like to study at NNWA?
Studying at NNWA (Nutrition & Wellness Academy) is flexible, practical and genuinely supported. Instead of watching a wall of pre-recorded videos alone, you join live sessions, work on real tasks, and get feedback from mentors, all online and all in English and Hindi. The experience is designed to fit around a job, studies or family rather than the other way round.
How do live and recorded classes work together?
NNWA teaches through scheduled live sessions where you can ask questions in the moment, and every session is recorded so you keep lifetime access. If you miss a class or want to revisit a tricky topic, the recording is there. This pairing means you get the accountability of a live classroom with the flexibility of self-paced study.
What support will I get from mentors?
You are not left to teach yourself. Mentors run the live sessions, answer questions, and review your practical assignments so you learn from your own work. Because teaching is bilingual, you can follow the science comfortably in English or Hindi, which matters when a concept is new and precision counts.
What practical work will I do?
Learning is built around doing. You practise the tasks a working practitioner performs, and build a portfolio you can show later.
- Building sample diet plans using real Indian foods and the ICMR-NIN (National Institute of Nutrition) Dietary Guidelines for Indians.
- Working through client-style case studies and counselling practice.
- Applying nutrition principles to specialisations such as sports, weight management or women's health.
- Completing assignments that mentors review and give feedback on.
How do the fees and schedule work?
NNWA keeps fees affordable and offers EMI (equated monthly instalment) options, so cost need not be a barrier. Because everything is online with recordings, you set much of your own pace. The flagship Diploma in Nutrition, Dietetics & Public Health runs as a complete programme, while shorter specialisations let you concentrate on one area at a time.
What will I have at the end?
You finish with practical skill, a portfolio of real work, and at least two certificates per programme, including a digitally verifiable certificate an employer or client can check. To be clear, that certificate is a skill-enhancement credential, not a University degree, and does not confer Registered Dietitian (RD) status. What it reflects is that you can genuinely do the work you set out to learn.
