06Questions

What do people ask before enrolling on the Introduction to Nutrition?

Do I need any background to start?

No prior knowledge is needed. This is a true beginner's course built from the ground up, explained in plain language in English and Hindi. If you can cook or shop for food, you can follow along comfortably.

What does this certificate qualify me for?

You receive an NNWA skill-enhancement certificate in Introduction to Nutrition. It marks a solid foundation, not a professional or UGC qualification, and it is not a licence to give clinical dietary advice. Most learners use it as a stepping stone to a fuller specialisation.

Is this enough to become a nutritionist?

On its own, no. This is a short primer rather than a professional programme. It gives you the vocabulary and confidence to go further, and it pairs naturally with NNWA's longer courses and diploma. Think of it as the first step, not the whole journey.

How long is it and how is it delivered?

The course is fully online and runs over about two to three weeks, taught in English and Hindi. You get lifetime access to recordings and mentor support as you learn. Fees can be paid in full or through EMI.

Will it help me eat better day to day?

Yes. Even if you never study further, the course gives you practical habits for planning balanced meals and reading labels. It focuses on everyday Indian food rather than exotic ingredients. The aim is knowledge you can use at your very next meal.
