Refund Policy

Refund Policy

Effective Date: September 01, 2025

Entity: National Nutrition and Wellness Academy (operating as National Nutrition and Wellness Academy – NNWA)

At NNWA, we are committed to providing the highest quality education in Nutrition, Fitness, and Wellness. Our courses are comprehensive, visually engaging, and include proprietary gamified learning modules. Due to the digital nature of our content and the immediate access provided to our intellectual property upon enrollment, we maintain a strict Refund and Cancellation Policy.

By enrolling in any of our courses (Diploma, Certification, or Workshop), you acknowledge and agree to the terms laid out below.

1. GENERAL REFUND POLICY (NO REFUND RULE)

1.1. Digital Content & Intellectual Property:

Once a student has registered and has been provided with the login credentials (username and password) to the Learning Management System (LMS) or the “Program Kit” has been dispatched/accessed, the course fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.

  • This applies even if the student has not yet logged in or started watching the videos, as the license to access the content has already been generated.

1.2. Change of Mind:

We do not provide refunds for “change of mind,” personal reasons, changes in financial circumstances, or inability to cope with the academic rigor of the curriculum. We strongly advise students to review the course syllabus and talk to our counselors before making a payment.

1.3. Evaluation & Certification Fees:

Any fees paid specifically for examination, certification processing (NSDC/University), or practical evaluations are non-refundable once the examination slot has been booked.

2. EXCEPTIONAL CIRCUMSTANCES (REFUND ELIGIBILITY)

Refnds are only considered under the following specific technical circumstances:

2.1. Duplicate Payments:

If a student has accidentally made a double payment for the same course due to a technical glitch (e.g., the payment gateway page refreshed, or the amount was debited twice), a full refund of the excess amount will be processed.

  • Process: The student must email accounts@nfna.in with proof of both transaction reference numbers within 48 hours of the transaction.
  • Timeline: The refund will be credited back to the original source of payment within 7 to 10 working days, subject to bank realization norms.

2.2. Course Cancellation by NNWA:

In the rare event that NNWA cancels a specific batch or discontinues a course entirely before the batch commencement date, 100% of the fees paid will be refunded to the student.

3. EMI AND LOAN CANCELLATION POLICY

Many students choose to pay via EMI options provided by our third-party lending partners (NBFCs). Please understand that the loan agreement is a contract between You (the Student) and the Lender.

3.1. Liability:

Once the loan is approved and disbursed to NNWA, the course is considered “Paid.” If you wish to discontinue the course, you are still liable to repay the full loan amount to the bank. NNWA will not cancel the loan or refund the disbursed amount to the bank on your behalf once access to the course has been granted.

3.2. Foreclosure:

If a student wishes to cancel the EMI facility, they must settle the foreclosure charges and outstanding principal directly with the lending partner. NNWA holds no jurisdiction over the terms of the third-party lender.

4. BATCH DEFERRAL AND TRANSFER POLICY

We understand that medical emergencies or unforeseen situations arise. While we do not offer refunds, we offer Deferral options to ensure you don’t lose your money.

4.1. Batch Deferral (Postponement):

If you are unable to continue with your current batch due to medical reasons (proof required), you may request to pause your course and join a future batch.

  • Time Limit: You must join a new batch within 6 months of the initial deferral.
  • Fees: A nominal Batch Transfer Fee (plus GST) may be applicable to cover administrative costs and software license extensions.

4.2. Non-Transferability of Seat:

Your admission is personal to you. You cannot transfer your fee, seat, or LMS access to a friend, family member, or third party under any circumstances. This is to ensure the integrity of our certifications and data privacy.

5. ACCOUNT TERMINATION

NNWA reserves the right to terminate a student’s account without a refund if the student is found:

  • Sharing login credentials with others (Piracy).
  • Engaging in harassment or abusive behavior towards faculty or other students.
  • Falsifying educational documents during the admission process.

In such cases of termination due to violation of the Code of Conduct, all fees paid shall be forfeited.

6. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

In case of any billing disputes, the student must contact the NNWA Accounts Department first. Filing a “Chargeback” with your credit card provider or bank without first contacting us to resolve the issue will result in the immediate suspension of your account and certification process until the dispute is resolved.

7. CONTACT FOR FINANCIAL QUERIES

For any queries related to payments, EMI status, or duplicate transaction refunds, please contact us strictly via email to ensure a documented trail.
