What scholarships cover

Scholarships and concessions typically take the form of a partial reduction in course fees, with the specifics depending on the programme and your circumstances. They are limited and offered at the academy’s discretion, so we assess each request individually and fairly. We are always transparent about exactly what is on offer in your case — there are no hidden conditions.

A learner’s new beginning

How to apply

Applying is simple and respectful of your privacy. Speak to a counsellor about the course you are interested in and mention that you would like to be considered for a scholarship or concession. Share a little about your situation and goals, and we will let you know what support we can offer. There is no complicated form and no judgement — just an honest conversation.

Are scholarships guaranteed?

No. They are limited and offered at the academy’s discretion, assessed case by case. But we encourage you to ask — you may be pleasantly surprised.

How much can a scholarship cover?

It varies by programme and circumstance, usually as a partial fee reduction. A counsellor will tell you exactly what is possible for you.

Can I combine a scholarship with EMI?

Often yes. Talk to a counsellor and we will work out the most affordable way for you to start.

Our philosophy on access

We started NNWA because we believe credible health education should not be a privilege reserved for those who can easily afford it. Talent and motivation are spread far more evenly than opportunity, and scholarships are one of the ways we try to close that gap. When a determined learner is held back only by money, helping them is not charity to us — it is exactly the point of what we do, and the kind of impact we are most proud of.

That is why we encourage you to ask, even if you are unsure whether you qualify. The worst outcome is a polite no; the best is a real chance to change your future. We would always rather have that conversation than let a capable person walk away assuming the door was closed.

What we look for

Beyond merit and need, we look for genuine commitment. A scholarship is an investment in you, and we offer it most readily to learners who are serious about completing their course and putting the skills to work. You do not need a perfect record or an impressive CV — you need real intent and a willingness to make the most of the opportunity. Tell us your story honestly, and we will respond in the same spirit.

Take the first step

If any of this resonates, reach out to a counsellor, mention your interest in a scholarship, and share a little about your situation. It costs nothing to ask, and it could be the start of something significant.
